Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) - $75,000 Sign-On BonusLocation: Select Baylor Scott & White Facilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Masters-prepared Anesthesiologist Assistant working under the supervision of a licensed anesthesiologist. Administers anesthesia protocols and ensures top-quality perioperative patient care. Supervising anesthesiologist remains accountable. ⚕️⚕️
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer anesthesia with focus on cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic health
- Perform advanced airway management including intubation
- Administer anesthetic drugs, vasoactive infusions, and blood products as directed
- Collaborate closely with supervising anesthesiologist during induction, extubation, and unexpected events
- Develop comprehensive patient assessments for anesthetic planning
- Order pre-op evaluations and meds after anesthesiologist consultation
- Initiate/manage multi-parameter monitoring (ASA monitors, arterial/venous lines, etc.)
- Assist with post-op ventilator management and pain control

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree required
- ✅ Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA-C)
- Less than 1 year experience acceptable
