We are currently recruiting multiple Emergency Registered Nurses for a variety of employment types, including full-time, part-time and casual opportunities across both sites.
About the Role:
Emergency Registered Nurses at Covenant Health:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver evidenceinformed nursing interventions
Administer medications and implement prescribed treatments
Monitor, evaluate and document patient progress
Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health and support staff
Support patient and family education and discharge planning
Act as an advocate for patient safety and wellbeing
Provide care aligned with Covenant Health’s Mission, Vision, Values and professional standards

Requirements
What You Will Need to Apply:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) from a Registered Nurse program
Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (Level C)
Recent Emergency Department experience (within the last two years)
Recent ICU/CCU experience and/or a minimum of 3 years in Medical, Surgical, or Labour & Delivery within the last 5 years may be considered for various roles
Preferred – but not required – credentials include one or more of the following: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS, ENA Emergency Nursing Certificate, NRP, ITLS, ACCN
