\n Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico is seeking a skilled and reliable Certified Registered Nurse\n

\n Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia team. The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a\n
\n
\n variety of surgical and procedural cases, ensuring safe, high-quality patient outcomes.\n
\n
\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n
\n Administer anesthesia for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.\n
\n
\n Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.\n
\n
\n Monitor patients during and after anesthesia to ensure safety and comfort.\n
\n
\n Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management when needed.\n
\n
\n Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.\n
\n
\n Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.\n
\n
\n Maintain accurate and complete anesthesia records in compliance with hospital and federal guidelines.\n
\n
\n Qualifications\n
\n
\n Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.\n
\n
\n Certification: Current NBCRNA certification required.\n
\n
\n Licensure: Active RN and CRNA license (state of New Mexico or compact state).\n
\n
\n Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an independent CRNA preferred.\n
\n
\n Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.\n

Rate: USD $350,000 to $400,000

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered CRNA Montana state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited CRNA program
• One year of work experience as CRNA
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
