Description

Locums OB/GYN opportunity in North Carolina with a clinic-forward schedule plus limited onsite night call.

Highlights

• Clinic-focused coverage with a defined weekly structure (4 clinic days plus limited call)

• Option to cover only 1-2 weeks per month (dates still available)
• Open to physicians with an active North Carolina license or IMLC LOQ (licensing in progress considered)

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN coverage
• Adult patients only
• Team environment with OB/GYNs, midwives, nursing, anesthesia, OB nurses, and ER support
• Hospital coverage is solo while on-site during your assignment

Schedule

• Weekday clinic schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-5p; Friday 8a-12p
• Assignment structured as 4 clinic days plus 1 onsite night call per stint
• Coverage typically needed in short blocks (only 1-2 weeks per month)

Cases and Procedures

• Women's health clinic visits: breast/pelvic exams and Pap smears
• Common gynecologic concerns: endometriosis, cysts, fibroids, menopause, contraception, infections, STIs/UTIs, and menstrual concerns

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• North Carolina license preferred; will consider waiting for license with active IMLC LOQ
