The Hawai'i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking a board eligible/board certified, dedicated and passionate Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join our University Women's Health Clinic at Hilo.

Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. The ideal candidate will be experienced, a team player, and dedicated to providing high quality medical care, in addition to actively participating in the clinical learning environment and engaging in educational and other academic responsibilities.
In addition to clinical practice, this is a core faculty position with responsibilities in teaching medical students and OB/GYN residents. Faculty appointment is available through the University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine, offering the chance to participate in academic medicine while serving the Big Island community. Located on the east side of Hawai‘i Island, Hilo offers the perfect combination of access to small town amenities and natural beauty. Downtown Hilo offers easy access to shops, farm-to-table restaurants, and Hilo International Airport. This community is also conveniently located near Volcanoes National Park, hiking trails, waterfalls, and beach parks.
Our OB/GYN physicians provide comprehensive care including outpatient visits, office-based procedures, inpatient care, deliveries, and gynecologic surgeries. This position includes inpatient coverage at a 166-bed acute care hospital with an ICU and 24-hour anesthesiology coverage. You will also have access to on-site subspecialty expertise in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, and Urogynecology through the Hawai‘i Pacific Health system and telemedicine services, ensuring high-quality care for our patients. Responsibilities include:
1-in-4 home call
Full-scope OB/GYN practice
18 to 25 patients per clinic day
