We are seeking a Director for the Ambulatory Surgery Pre-operative and PACU departments. This role is well supported by senior perioperative nursing leaders and is a great opportunity to learn additional healthcare business skills and principles, including strategy and innovation.
Requirements:
Education & Licenses
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN); Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent graduate degree is preferred
- NYS RN License
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Issuing Agency: AHA)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Issuing Agency: AHA)
- Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN®)
Clinical Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive nursing experience with a focus on Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and/or Ambulatory Surgery Unit (AMSU) and ICU
- 3–5 years of nursing clinical care must include Charge Nurse experience
Leadership & Management
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and management ability
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to lead and influence teams in an interdisciplinary environment and maintain professionalism

Salary: $160K - $170K/yr
