Requirements
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery
Fellowship training in spine surgery preferred
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Ability to manage high surgical volume and complex spine cases
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
Eligible to work in the United States
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
Provide neurosurgical and spine surgery at Trinity Health Oakland (497 bed, Level 2 Trauma) and Trinity Health Livonia (304 bed) and Trinity Health Livonia ASC
Provide comprehensive trauma, acute care, and critical care surgical services, including operative and non-operative management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency medicine, anesthesia, and critical care for complex neurosurgical and spine patients
Supervise and educate residents, APPs, and medical students as applicable
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, quality initiatives, and clinical documentation standards
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology including O-Arm, Leica microscopes, and stealth navigation
Engaging in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials related to spine devices
