Gastroenterology Physician Western, PA

A community hospital in Pennsylvania is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join an established team of 1 Gastroenterologist + 2 APPs. This is a replacement opportunity with immediate patient demand and the potential to build a full practice within the first 6 months.

The Opportunity

• Full-time General Gastroenterology
• New graduates/fellows welcome
• Up to 16 procedures/day
• Approximately 8-20 inpatient GI consults/day
• ERCP/EUS not required
• Subspecialty interests welcome depending on local resources
• CRNA/anesthesia coverage available for procedures
• Endoscopy team available for urgent/emergent procedures 24/7
• Advanced GI cases referred externally

Schedule & Call

• Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Endoscopy: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
• Schedule varies based on procedure blocks and call
• 4-day workweek negotiable
• Call currently supported with locum coverage
• Home/local call - no requirement to remain in the hospital continuously
• Urgent procedures can be performed after hours with endoscopy staff activation

Requirements

• BE/BC Gastroenterology
• New graduates/fellows encouraged to apply
• Appropriate GI training and procedural experience
• Pennsylvania medical license required prior to start
