Locums Anesthesiology Physician in Portsmouth, Ohio - No Call, Weekday Schedule

Supervision-focused anesthesia coverage with no call responsibilities and weekday-only scheduling. This assignment centers on a 4:1 medical direction model while maintaining the ability to run your own room when needed.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient anesthesia practice with operating rooms, endoscopy, and obstetric coverage
• Care team model supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists
• General, regional, vascular, obstetric, ear nose and throat, and orthopedic cases
• No cardiac, spine, neuro, or intracranial cases

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage
• Standard operating room coverage beginning at 7:00 a.m.
• Daytime schedule with occasional add-on cases
• Multiple week-long coverage blocks available

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Ohio license required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, DEA, and PALS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage covered
• Travel accommodations arranged for assignment coverage
