Practice & Cases

• Outpatient clinic and GI procedure lab with inpatient procedures covered separately
• Perform colonoscopy and EGD with opportunities for ERCP and EUS if desired
• Spend 60-80 percent of time in the procedure lab with remaining time in clinic
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, and procedure staff

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage
• 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional 7:30 a.m. starts for procedure blocks
• Minimum commitment of one full week per month
• Ongoing monthly coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology or Board Eligible within 5 years
• Active Illinois medical license with Illinois DEA and CSR required
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, CSR, and moderate sedation credentials required

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided as applicable
• Travel accommodations are coordinated based on provider location
